The guests had the chance to travel back in time and relive a sophisticated and glittering era, that impacted all generations. A lively musical comedy had fondly remembering the period’s great Broadway hits.
We are particularly grateful for the remarkable dedication and unflagging support of our two honorary chairs, Ms. Jessica Harnois, fervent sommelier and President of Vins au féminin, and Ms. Danièle Henkel, renowned entrepreneur and President and founder of Entreprises Danièle Henkel Inc.
We also offer our sincere thanks to our evening’s hosts, the luminous Maripier Morin and the good-natured Étienne Boulay. Our much-appreciated spokesperson, with a spectacular sincerity and spontaneity, shone a bright light on our 34th Great Evening of Stars.
Thank you to the talented singer Kim Richardson and to the great dancers and artists from Danse 1.2.3 for their fabulous performances.
We also thank the Québec Minister of Health and Social Services, Dr. Gaétan Barrette, as well as the Consul General of Italy, Mr. Marco Riccardo Rusconi, who honoured us with their presence.
The Foundation of Stars has, for the past 40 years, devoted time and energy to brightening the days and bringing a bit of magic to the lives of sick children and their families. On March 21st, our young star Karl, accompanied by his highly likeable parents, warmed the hearts of everyone in attendance with his touching story.
And lastly, we thank Dr. Nada Jabado, pediatric hemato-oncologist at the Montréal Children’s Hospital and renowned researcher who received several grants from Foundation of Stars. Despite her hectic schedule, she is relentless in her efforts to raise awareness of the importance of research into children’s diseases.
